MY PLANS, PREDICTIONS AND WISHES

I am going to compete in a tournament next week in Sabaneta because I am going to represent the city of Medellin at the Departmental Games. I would like to get the first place in this tournament. 

I was in the National University Games last week and we got the second place. For the next year I want to get the first place, so I am going to train harder. 

I wish to go to play an International Tournament next year with my Team Aire. We want to go to Argentina because we don't need VISA to travel there. 

I would like to play The First World Ultimate Championship Universitary, it is going to take place at University Eafit next year. 

I wish to go to World Championship Beach Ultimate in 2020 because it is my favorite modality. I am going to play Beach Ultimate every year in Santa Marta and it demands a lot of physical movement but it is very fun. 

In 10 years I might coach the National Team of Ultimate. 

MY EXPERIENCE IN THE SPORT

I met the ULTIMATE 11 years ago, I was playing soccer when Alfonso Lopez invited me to practice Ultimate because he was participating in a sporting project initiation. I decided to participate and I liked it.

I started training with the club AIRE in 2005. That year I met the ocean that was my first tournament in Santa Marta. Since then I have met many friends from different cities and I have played many nacional championships. The best thing about playing Ultimate is that I have known different places of Colombia as Santa Marta, Cartagena, Cali, Bucaramanga, Bogota, Manizales.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE IS EXPENSIVE!!

Ultimate frisbee has only two professional leagues but the player's salary is not sufficient to live. They must get additional job.

Usually the Ultimate players pay their own expenses to go to play tournaments and they buy their own uniforms. For this reason, Ultimate is expensive for the people that practice it.

POPULARITY OF THE SPORT

The Ultimate Frisbee is more popular in the Universities, because it is mixed. The women can play it with men without worrying that they can injure, because it is a non-contact sport.

The Ultimate is relatively new, but the popularity of  the sport spread quickly in recent years to all the world.

The countries where the people are more play are USA, CANADA, GREAT BRITAIN, JAPAN.

Spirit of the Game is the most important rule in Ultimate frisbee. Ultimate is played without the use of referees.

All players are responsible for administering and adhering to the rules. This rule invites to the dialogue between adversaries.
